Hi, we're working on solar hybrid air conditioning. Unlike normal solar arrays that need net metering, these units run on 3 solar panels directly connected to the outdoor unit of the air conditioner (which is a solar hybrid minisplit, actually). So, we need someone with experience on installing solar panels on, most immediately, tile roofs. Advise your experience, safety precautions/certifications you follow/have. Send photos of any past projects you've completed, as well as your availability. We'll provide all installation materials. Ideally, you should have your own tools and harness. This is a new concept, and we're installing a few trial units this summer on which we need help, and then we anticipate more extensive need for help next year. Check out airspool.com for an overview of the product. So, the scope for this one is...
1. Install rails for 3 solar panels with the configuration shown, or a different configuration that you may feel would work better.
2. Connect MC4 connectors and threat PV wire into the attic
3. Bring PV wire into the conduit on the north side of the home and to the ground where the outdoor unit of the air conditioner is and attach the solar array's MC4 connectors to the built-in outdoor unit's MC4 connectors.
Best regards,
Dave
