COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday 6/11 we.grow.eco and Santa Fe Parks Division invites you to join us on Saturday, July 9th from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at De Vargas Park to a good ol' monthly community clean-up. We will meet in a gazebo near the parking lot — the address is: 302 W De Vargas St, Santa Fe, NM 87501. Thick nitrile gloves and work gloves will be available, but bring yours along if you'd like. We will also be giving out burritos to the unsheltered community at the park. UPON ARRIVAL: we will gather field at a designated table to take a group photo, & have a brief orientation about how the morning will go.then we'll split into smaller groups and begin cleaning up in the designated areas of the park and giving out burritos and water. we will then meet back at 11:40 am, sort recycling and count how many bags we've used.after collecting & documenting our litter haul, we will gather together to debrief about this event and how single-use plastic pollution & possible grassroots power-driven solutions.PLEASE BRING: a full (reusable) water bottle, and any snacks you may want (we will also have snacks & a water jug)a hat & sunscreen for sun protectionshoes and clothes for walking over wet small streams.there is a porta- potty on site to learn more about we.grow.eco, please visit www.wegroweco.org we look forward to seeing you out there! in solidarity, chauncey & noah We will be in front of the De Vargas Skate Park at the tables where the red is circled.
