We are hosting another Active Shooter Preparedness Training at BC in July. Feel free to bring your significant other, your family, your co-workers, etc. Don't reserve tickets though if you are not sure you can attend this so that others can have the tickets. There is a 2nd date available. This training truly does save lives! Many of you know this, but when the tragic Las Vegas shootings happened in Oct of 2017 we were there for the Wedding MBA. Thankfully we weren't near the the shootings, but at the time we didn't know that and faced other great dangers (crazed crowds, people pulling weapons out of fear, stampedes, etc). We truly feared for our lives. It was total chaos! Thankfully we had attended this very training just shortly before. Everything we learned came back to us and for the most part we were able to keep a cool head and follow the steps we'd learned to increase our odds of survival. After that we vowed to host these seminars regularly for the community; so we have partnered with expert Assistant Chief Woitena from our awesome League City Police Department to prepare as many people as possible. In light of the recent tragedies in Uvalde we know this is more important than ever.
