The Southwestern Union Prayer Ministries Department is excited to announce that we have teamed up with the Texico Conference to conduct a Prayer Conference at the Amarillo Seventh-day Adventist Church in Amarillo, Texas on July 22-23, 2022. The theme for the Prayer Conference is “A Generation Searching for God”. Regardless of your age, now is the time for us to seek God. “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.” Isaiah 55:6. We are living in critical times, so we are inviting you to come worship and pray with us. You may ask what to expect and that’s a great question. The Prayer Coordinators from various Conferences in the Southwestern Union will be in attendance to pray with you and share wonderful words of life pertaining to the power of prayer. On Friday evening, we are planning to have a special prayer time for all the youth and young adults. Sabbath morning will be a special prayer time for the children, with Sonia Cano and Kathy Clifford leading out. General sessions will include preaching from Carlos Craig and Tony Anobile, singing with Pearl Selaue, breakout seminars on prayer presented by Roderick Bishop, Osvaldo Rigacci, Sonia Cano, Kathy Clifford, Carlos & Letty Craig, Cindy & Rick Mercer, and outreach prayer initiatives led by Helvis Moody. There will be a lunch and supper provided on Sabbath. There will be presentations in both English and Spanish languages with plans to accommodate the hearing impaired. We believe that God is going to do amazing things at this Prayer Conference.
