Troop 42 Merit Badge Mondays (and Rank Advancement)

In the summertime, Troop 42 & Troop 422 have meetings once or twice per month so that Scouts can continue working on rank advancement and merit badges. These meetings are optional and are more informal than the rest of the year. We'll start at 7 PM and aim to be finished by 8 PM. Scouts may leave as soon as they've completed their work. Uniforms are NOT required. Scouts who wish to work on merit badges MUST ALSO communicate with their merit badge counselor to ensure that the counselor will attend the same meeting. Don't make the mistake of assuming that your counselor will be at the meeting. You need to ask them if they will attend and get confirmation that they plan to meet with you. We are asking Scouts AND adults to register for each date they are planning to attend so we can ensure the necessary leadership for each meeting. Sign up for the dates you want to attend. You can return to this same Eventbrite to sign up for additional dates or cancel a registration if your plans change. If no Scouts have signed up for a particular Merit Badge Monday, we may cancel the meeting for the date. So be sure to signal your intent to attend and don't assume that a meeting will occur if you don't sign up.
