HUNTER RAE has only ever wanted to create and speak through, music. At ten years old, Rae was putting pen to paper and strumming three chords, as a way to make sense of the ups and downs we all experience in life. Sixteen years later, she’s never put down that pen, or that guitar. Hunter embraces the storytelling of her life, in hopes that her listeners feel seen and understood, as they navigate their way through their own. She has transformed from writing lyrics in Math class, to harnessing her craft in hometown coffee shops and studios, to becoming a Nashville, TN local. Driving eight days across the country from Canada to make her dreams come true, she’s not slowing down any time soon. Hunter is working with producer/songwriter, Forest Glen Whitehead, to release a series of singles throughout the year (“boys like u” this past April and “Twice” this June), and made her debut at The Bluebird Cafe. If there’s one thing she would want you to know, it’s this: “Never give up on yourself, or your dreams. Anything is possible.”
