The fun and excitement starts this weekend! The four teams competing in this year's domestic competition are the Fort Jackson Blackhawks, the Fort Bragg Raptors, the Columbia Kangaroos, and the Raleigh Storm. This fun and inclusive sport means anyone can play. The sport of wheelchair rugby league is open to adaptive and able-bodied athletes or participants. The sport has no classification system for adaptive athletes which makes the sport Adaptive Athlete Inclusive. Anyone can play! Teams are mixed and the playing field is levelled as everyone plays in a wheelchair. Multisport Chairs are perfect for playing in and does not require any specialized wheelchair.
