I have a couch business, it is on 48th st and baseline, and I need someone to come clean the couches. This is cash pay, continual weekly work, I don’t want you just dipping in and out whenever Base pay is $20/hr, minimum of $60 per couch, which ever total is highest at the end of the day (example: you clean 3 couches in 6 hours, 6 hour pay is $120, but because the minimum per couch is $60, it would be $180 pay for the day) if you have a truck you can also deliver couches for extra pay too, same rate and I’ll cover gas and 10 cents per mile. The faster you are, the more you take home, no couch should ever take longer than 3 hours, but I completely understand if some couches just take a very long time, there is a small learning curve so you will have a few weeks to get it under your belt Job requirements: - Have a reliable vehicle - Have a MAIN JOB, this should be side income, I don’t want to be responsible for your bills, only here to help with extra cash - work a minimum 3 days a week, minimum 6 couches cleaned (so 2 per day) - preferred hours: 6am-10am or 3pm-7pm mon-sat (you choose the three days and you choose your preferred hours, Sunday we do not work) so minimum pay per day SHOULD be $120 *you may work longer hours, but you will be outside and from 11am-2pm it is very hot, I prefer you do not work those hours but it’s your choice. - I will reimburse 1/2 of gas for you too to get to work What you will do on the job: - learn how to wash cushions (by hand or washing machine techniques) - remove pet hair - remove pilling - if need be, fix small tears or wood (paid extra per couch if you learn this skill) - keep count of stock of cleaning supplies The job is not hard, just know that most times you will be alone on the job site, if you don’t have integrity and will just mess around I will not have you come in the next day, I’m not strict but I simply ask people to do the work they are agreeing to do, and I’ll pay accordingly.
