We invite you to drive through a glimmering winter landscape this holiday season. Lightopia – An Illuminated Journey, a brand-new family holiday experience at Gordon Faber Recreation Complex, opens Friday, November 27 and is open through Saturday, January 30. This brilliant 1/3-mile drive-through attraction features an astounding number of lights and includes seasonal light vignettes ranging from funny and familiar (think: Santa’s elves) to dazzling that will delight folks young and old. Your Lightopia passage will include a free treat, a 15-minute drive through the route, and a concurrent audio program timed to the light display (must have a working FM car radio). This event is free and open to all. Register now! COVID-19 Screening Questions: By registering for and attending this event, you are acknowledging that you answer “NO” to all of the below COVID-19 screening questions for yourself and everyone in your vehicle. If, after registering, you find that any of your answers change to “YES,” please cancel your registration immediately. Thank you! 1. Do you have any of these symptoms that are not caused by another condition? • Fever or chills • Cough • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing • Fatigue • Muscle or body aches • Headache Nausea or vomiting • Diarrhea • Recent loss of taste or smell • Sore throat • Congestion 2. Within the past 14 days, have you had contact with anyone that you know had COVID-19 or COVID-like symptoms? Contact is being 6-feet (2 meters) or closer for more than 15-minutes with a person, or having direct contact with fluids from a person with COVID-19 (for example, being coughed or sneezed on). 3. Have you had a positive COVID-19 test for an active virus in the past 10-days? 4. Within the past 14-days, has a public health or medical professional told you to self-monitor, self-isolate, or self-quarantine because of concerns about COVID-19 infection? Details and Guidelines: • Tours start on the 30-minute mark each hour: 5:30; 6:30; 7:30; 8:30; and 9:30 (Fridays and Saturdays only). • Each drive-through tour session will last up to and no longer than 15 minutes. • Please arrive between15 minutes prior to your tour, but no earlier than 30 minutes before start time. Example: for a 5:30 tour, please arrive between 5 and 5:30 pm. • Event is automobile drive-through only. No pedestrian traffic, bicycles, or motorcycles, please. • One registration per vehicle. Each vehicle must register separately. • By registering for and attending this event, you are acknowledging that you answer “NO” to all of the above COVID-19 screening questions for yourself and everyone in your vehicle. If, after registering, you find that any of your answers change to “YES,” please cancel your registration immediately. • Masks are required when outside of vehicles for all attendees age 5 and above, and strongly encouraged for ages 2-4. • Restrooms will be available onsite prior to tour. Mask usage is required during restroom use.
