Local Students Receive Praise For Collegiate Efforts

LONG BEACH, NY — A student from Long Beach has been recognized for his collegiate efforts. Pierce Elliott was named to the College of the Holy Cross Spring 2022 Dean's List. To qualify, a student must pass four or more letter-graded courses with no failing grades during the semester, and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. The College of the Holy Cross, in Worcester, Massachussetts., is among the nation's leading liberal arts institutions. Another Long Beach resident, Katherine Farrell, was named to The University of Alabama Dean's List for Spring Semester 2022. The university dean's and president's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students.
