TRUMBULL, CT — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022. We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Trumbull so you can start planning now. Here's what's in store this July 4 in Trumbull: July 4 Festivities What: Trumbull Day 2022, a fun-filled family event with food, vendors, carnival rides and games, children's entertainment, a main stage featuring local bands and fireworks. Where: The field behind Hillcrest Middle School When: The event begins Friday, July 1, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and continue on Saturday, July 2, from 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., closing with a fabulous fireworks display. What: Stratford's annual Independence Day Fireworks display Where: Short Beach When: The display will begin at sundown, approximately 9 p.m. The rain date will be July 5. What: Fireworks & Concert at HPCC in Orange Where: 525 Orange Center Rd When: July 9 Due to pandemic surges, counties or cities may adjust or cancel events at the last minute, so double-check with organizers.
