FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 10, 2022 Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students at KLA Schools of Plainfield and Naperville received their diplomas at the 2022 Graduation Program & Commencement Ceremony, held at the Christ Community Church of Plainfield on S Van Dyke Rd in Plainfield and Center Stage Theater on Quincy Ave in Naperville on Saturday, June 4, 2022. This was KLA Schools of Plainfield's 9th Graduation and Naperville's 3rd Graduation, and Executive Director, Erica Koegel, said, "Graduation is a time to reflect and celebrate the journey. We shared cherished memories, changes, and challenging times throughout the school year. Relationships were strengthened, and it gave the children the opportunity to grow, learn and develop." This year's ceremony was filled with joy as families, friends, and educators came to celebrate an important milestone and many memories that will last years to come. "This has been my first year as the School Principal, and I want to thank you all for trusting me this year. Every morning seeing all the students' and families' smiling faces (when the masks were able to be taken off) has reminded me why I love what I do!" said Stephanie Brendel, KLA Schools of Plainfield School Principal. The program featured several student performances, including songs, poems, a presentation of diplomas, and a video presentation of the journey throughout the school year. Carrie Hemmer, Director of Admissions, says, "we are so proud of everyone's accomplishments they made throughout the school year, and we are very excited to see what they can achieve on their next journey!" The completion of the school year also marks the beginning of the summer camp program. This year the theme is "All Things in Motion", and KLA Schools of Plainfield and Naperville have many fun experiences planned for the children that will provide them opportunities to explore how things move within the world around them.
