The exciting, behind-the-scenes camp with Police, Fire, Public Works, and Parks is back for another year of adventure!
Through hands-on activities, campers will investigate crime scenes, conduct physics experiments, explore the Fire House, learn bicycle safety skills and how to identify and treat poison ivy, be sworn in as Junior Police Officers and so much more! Fire trucks, ambulances, patrol cars, and big trucks are all part of the action! A surprise canine friend will also make an appearance. City Staff from each Department (Police, Fire, Public Works, and Parks & Recreation) will lead the activities with support from Recreation Leaders.
The fee includes all materials and daily snacks. Campers wear closed-toed shoes and bring a hat, water bottle, and lunch daily.6-10 years
Camp meets at the City Center on the first day (1140 Dielman Rd), and other city locations on subsequent days. The schedule will be provided on the first day.
