Mechanic/Shop Helper Needed Immediately Fast pace, growing construction and road maintenance company based in Wasilla is looking for a Mechanic/Shop Helper to hire full-time with the possibility of occasional overtime. This is a 4/10 work week, with mechanical hands-on training included and an opportunity to grow in position. Candidate will assist with general labor tasks including but not limited to: shop clean up, picking up of parts, assigned yard tasks, washing and cleaning out truck rental units and some mechanically inclined projects. Upon occasion, Candidate will assist with snow removal and road maintenance projects when needed. Candidate will follow instructions from Lead Mechanic and Shop/Service Superintendent to learn valuable knowledge needed for this industry. In addition, applicant will drive company truck for any shop related tasks so a valid Alaska driver's license with a good record is a MUST! We are looking for an eager candidate who wants an opportunity to learn a highly in demand and lucrative craft, someone who does not mind getting dirty and is willing to work hard to prove dedication and desire to advance.
