It breaks my heart to do this but I need to find a new home for our approximately 3 1/2 year old husky mix. His name is Apollo! He is an absolutely amazing dog, just a big ol' teddy bear (around 65-70lbs). He does not get along with other male dogs (hence why we are rehoming, he's started one too many fights with our older dog). He is a rescue, I believe he was abused previously. He gets startled very easily and takes awhile to warm up. He does fantastic with cats, as long as they aren't trying to get into his food. He will bar his teeth if there is another animal (not humans, just animals) too close while he's eating. He does great with our female dog. We do not have children, but in previous situations he's done absolutely amazing with kids of all ages. When it comes to humans you can do almost anything to him without any reaction. He knows sit, stay, wait, leave it, spin, shake, amongst many other commands. He is completely house broken. Walks great on a leash. He doesn't need to be kenneled when left home alone. He is microchipped and neutered. I think his ideal home would be somewhere where he is the only dog, maybe someone elderly who can give him all the attention and all the love. He is not current on his shots so he will need those.. Rehoming fee ($75) does apply. Please message me with any questions. I will be VERY picky about where he ends up. We are located in SE Salem
