Job Summary This position requires broad knowledge about painting, maintaining residential properties, including grounds maintenance and light snow removal. The ideal candidate will be flexible, be able to perform a wide range of maintenance related tasks, assist with unit turnover, routine repairs, painting and assistance with emergencies as needed. Must maintain professional working relationships with the staff and residents and conduct themselves in a respectful manner at all times. Employees are expected to practice safety precautions and be safety conscious at all times in the execution of maintenance duties. Job Description • Knowledge of painting of ceilings, popcorn ceilings, walls and trim. • Proficiently perform a variety of skilled work, in the various trades, in the course of normal maintenance. • Perform routine building repairs and ground maintenance to include, but not limited to, plumbing fixtures, carpentry repairs, flooring, drywall, painting and other various activities as directed. • Troubleshooting skills-quick thinker and have the ability to examine a problem situation and come up with a resolution in a prompt and professional manner • Inspect properties to assure quality standards are being adhered to. • Consistently communicate with supervisor to ensure that company standards are met. • Required to keep accurate records. • Performing such other duties as may be assigned.
