An organic farm looking for reliable worker experienced in landscape work, planting, weeding, tree care, pruning, irrigation, etc. The ideal person is someone who has extensive knowledge growing fruits, vegetables, and related prior farm or landscape experience. Responsibilities include: - harvesting - weeding - digging holes for planting - tree planting - pest management - seed starting - fencing - light construction work/repairs - other farm activities as assigned Job Requirements: - Work hours Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm - Able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions - Physically able to lift 50+ lbs consistently through the day - Attention to detail - Able to work both independently and as part of a team - No smoking, drinking or drugs - English speaker - Possess a valid CA driver's license with clean driving record - Fully vaccinated for COVID - Positive attitude and No drama Compensation: First year $15-$20 per hour. Your salary increases as farm income grows. Salary plus 15 days combination sick/personal/vacation time after 3 months probation period.
