Thank you for the note. I have to repeat that the problem is the lack of border enforcement.....most of the homeless are hooked on meth and fentanyl coming in from mexico. LA Magazine had an article that said as much. I discovered the piece in the magazine quite by accident at the dentist's office. I tend to believe their reporting is accurate on this topic, especially since LA Magazine is the voice of liberals and you would NOT expect them to be on the side of border control (because mass immigration means more voters for the Democratic Party) The other issue is out of control crime caused by lax policing and acceptance of lawlessness. Used to be if cops caught someone stealing....they could have them put away....and at the same time they could get treated for drug problems. Now, thanks to the idiots on the left, thieves and drug addicts are allowed to steal up to $1,000 of stuff and basically nothing is done. I witness thieves stealing all the time in the stores and nothing is done. The workers at Trader Joes in particular will just watch a thief steal and do absolutely NOTHING.....I've seen it repeatedly. The truth seems to bother some people, which makes it difficult to deal with problems in a sane way. The left's solution is to censor and shut people down. This is not the way to run a society.
