Hello, everyone. I am advertising for guitar lessons. I have a master’s degree in education and a degree in music. I also took private guitar lessons for four years through the college I attended. I have played guitar for over 20 years and have played live shows for 13 years. I was a guitar/piano instructor at a local studio before Covid, and I have given private music lessons for eight years. I generally play rock music, but I have experience playing other genres also. Students can learn skills (how to read music, how to play chords, scales, and songs) and knowledge (the related music theory) during lessons. I help students learn how to use multiple resources to figure out songs on their own and develop their ability to hear guitar parts through ear training. I also help students with developing effective practice strategies. I can do lessons through Skype/Zoom, or I can do lessons in-person at my garage studio. I could also travel to locations in Bend, but those lessons would cost a little more.
