Help Wanted - Freelance or Part Time Stagehands/Stage Technicians Tech Works is currently seeking part time or Freelance Stagehands/Stage Technicians. We are looking for audio techs, lighting techs, Backline techs and general stagehands to work in our shop in Sparks as well as on gigs. About Us: Tech Works is a regional Sound, Lighting, Staging, A/V and Backline provider (instrument rentals like drums/amps/keyboards) for concerts and events. Our clients range from bands or DJs flying in to the area for weddings, organizations holding local or regional events all the way up to promoters doing concerts and festivals. We work mainly in the Reno/Carson/Lake Tahoe/Truckee area but have done shows as far away as McGill NV, Bishop CA and Las Vegas NV. Recently we provided Backline to a convention at the GSR, Sound/Lighting/Staging/Backline for 30 bands playing a 4 day festival in McGill, Sound for Senator Ted Cruz in Sparks, Backline for a band performing in Truckee, Lighting for a Wedding in Reno, and Backline for a band playing a festival in Mammoth Lakes. Upcoming shows include Sound/Backline for a band playing in NV, Sound/Lighting/Backline for a wedding band playing in CA, Sound/Staging for a political rally in Reno and Sound/Lighting/Staging for a concert in Reno.
