Position: Shade installer The Denver Shade Company works with high end clients to bring Motorized Window Shade Technology to their homes and businesses. We help design and install interior and exterior shades, as well as create unique outdoor spaces that consist of automated pergolas and awnings from premier European shade design companies. Our product offerings have become very popular in Colorado, so The Denver Shade Company is growing! We are in need of a highly motivated and professional individual to join our installation team. Full time position. Salary dependant on experience. Requirements: - Experience with hand tools preferred – experience in home construction, installation, or fabrication - Able to lift 75 lbs and work on ladders - Basic understanding of internet connected devices – helpful but not necessary - Eye for detail- we work with high end clients and the expectation is a high level of craftsmanship - Presentable, professional, and reliable - 1-2 years shade installation experience a must Responsibilities: - Install shading products per manufacturers’ specifications - Install exterior pergola structures and awnings - Program shades, including app setup and troubleshooting - Load and unload heavy packages on top of vehicles for transport - Communicate well with clients during install Our installers are on job sites in clients’ homes and businesses. They need to be professional and able to communicate well when the client has questions or concerns. There are times when our installations require problem solving. Installer must have an active driver's license. This is a great opportunity to grow professionally in a small business. This position offers a lot of variety of work. Our installers can be at a different job site every day installing different types of products. This position also spends time at our shop assembling or repairing shading systems. Valid Drivers License is a must!
