Found smallish black long-haired cat

Description

Found sweet cat with a very loud meow. Long black fur, but it has been shaved at haunches (presumably to get rid of dreads?). No collar. Tried to get in our house several times today, and mostly wanted to nap. Very friendly, but seems distressed.
