Description
URGENT!! THESE 2 WHAT WE BELIEVE ARE SISTERS WILL DIE AT END OF DAY JUNE 20.......LOOKING FOR A ADOPTER OR FOSTER, IT WOULD BE NICE TO KEEP THEM TOGETHER, BUT CAN GO SEPARATE...
. Speckles and Fawn on the KILL list 6/20 Speckles and Fawn (possibly sisters?) were out roaming the streets when a good Samaritan spotted them. He was able to coax them over with a bowl of water and then brought them to the shelter to keep them safe. Sadly, they are NOT safe at the shelter. These two are scheduled to die in just a few days. Why? Because they are scared at the shelter, most dogs are when they come it, it's a stressful scar place for dogs. They are timid and need a home with patience for these sweet girls, they deserve a 2nd chance at life, they are only a year old. We don't know if these pups are truly 'bonded' but they do seem to take comfort in each other. When they are together, they stick close and hide in the corner together. Ideally, we would love to see them be rescued or adopted together. Speckles - 1 year 50 pounds #A4720143 Fawn - 1 year 40 pounds #A4720142 The girls have not been tested with other dogs, but it's possible that a calm confident fur sibling could help them learn to trust people. Fear dogs often benefit from being around a more well-adjusted dog. Fawn and Speckles don't deserve to die for being afraid! Please help us get them out of that scary shelter! Location: MCACC shelter 2500 S. 27th Avenue (27th Avenue, south of Durango) Phoenix, AZ 85009 Hours: Weekdays 12-6, Weekends 12-5
