Part Time CDL Driver for Tour Bus

Hiring responsible, professional drivers with a clean record and a good sense of fun and adventure! A local Austin tour company is looking for a good-spirited driver for our tour bus. The Job: ~Mostly Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, mostly all daytimes. Please only apply if you are typically available these days. ~Extra consideration given to those with Friday daytime availability ~Vehicles: 44-passenger Bluebird and 44-passenger Glaval Freightliner ~3-3.5 hour tours of Austin following a set route (most of this time is actually spent waiting at venues while the guests enjoy food/beverages inside) ~Driver will be responsible for basic bus cleaning, refueling (on our bill of course), and keeping an eye out for any maintenance concerns ~Fun work environment: live band on board the bus, so it’s like working at a concert! You: ~Punctual and responsible ~Safe driving record ~Well-groomed and ability to present a professional yet fun demeanor ~CDL-licensed with a passenger endorsement ~Air brake certification ~Willing and able to pass random drug tests as mandated by Texas and US law ~Ability to memorize a set tour route ~Preferably likes to wear funky hats or silly shirts If you fit these requirements and are looking for part-time work (1-2 days a week), please send your information and driving experience to: hello at twistedtexastour.com Pay: $30 per tour hour, plus gratuities.
