Onyx is a shepherd/ yellow lab mix.. this breed is a energetic breed that requires a job or they will cause destruction to furniture, digging, etc. Would make the perfect hiking pup! Pics of parents available. We have had him since he was 9 weeks old and planned to keep him forever but our life circumstance has changed drastically/unexpectedly and it is not ideal to raise a puppy correctly. He deserves way more attention than we can give him right now. He is not fixed. Gets along with everyone with proper introduction. Nervous and barks at new dogs/people at first. Great with kids ! What he knows already: -Sits at the door when leader touches door handle -sits when his leash is picked up -crate trained for car rides/bedtime/quiet time outs -walks on the leash “ok” -walks along baby strollers “great”! -house trained (will have accidents if not let out enough times a day) What he needs: -He needs more socializing with other people and pets. -he is not up to date on vaccines (he had his first round back in May) New potential owners should have veterinary references and /or trainer references (no prong/no shock trainers). They must also be willing to do a meet and greet first before taking him home and be open to one house check on him during the first month at his new home. Fair Rehoming fee applies We are not desperate to rehome him and will keep him if the right fit does not come along. Thank you!
