The Lead Maintenance Technician position is vital in delivering the Company's high quality customer service. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, repair requests and diagnosing problems with rolling equipment. You will also be in charge of the work site and delivering on customer satisfaction and productivity objectives.
Lead Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise technician(s) onsite and monitor for efficient maintenance work schedule
• Manage all on-site installations, repairs, maintenance and tests tasks
• Be the primary customer interface while on site, exhibiting courtesy and professionalism and ensuring all customer issues are addressed
• Diagnose technical problems and determines proper solutions
• Utilize mobile technology applications to complete service tickets, monitor timekeeping, submit reports, and manage expenses
• Produce timely and detailed service reports
• Maintain an organized warehouse, take physical inventory and keep accurate inventory counts
• Keep vehicle, tools and equipment organized and properly maintained
Lead Maintenance Technician Requirements:
• Must be able to perform physical maintenance work including the ability to lift at least 50-70 pounds
• Must have welding experience
• Previous supervisory experience
• Must practice personal and environmental safety on the job using protective equipment such as: gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection etc.
• Team Player -- must interact professionally and work well with the team and customers
• Self-motivated, responsible, reliable, and honest
• Must have time management skills
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background and DMV record check
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License, and reliable transportation
