Class C Driver wanted Driver wanted for local deliveries. All runs within 200 miles. Must have clean driving record. Your Qualities: Honesty and Integrity Attention to Detail Proactivity Calm Under Pressure Strong Work Ethic Teamwork Your Duties: Ensures that the customer's order arrives at the correct delivery location at the correct time. Checking the orders prior to leaving the warehouse and again upon arrival with the customer is an essential safeguard for customer service. Verifying routes and communicating concerns are essential for timely deliveries. Correctly executing the information on the paperwork and turning it in at the appropriate place is essential for tracking and billing purposes. Perform daily maintenance checks on all vehicles and ensure proper upkeep of the equipment. The company's vehicles are assets and are the sole responsibility of the drivers and dispatcher. The drivers have a commitment to ensure the vehicles are safe, clean, and well maintained. The overall appearance of the vehicle and the way in which the driver operates it on the road are a reflection of the company and our desire for a superior customer experience. Working with the warehouse dock during downtime away from deliveries and vehicle maintenance. When there are no deliveries, driver needs to be helping with the warehouse duties. Job Hours: Weekdays: 7:00am - 3:30pm Requirements: Non-CDL Type "C" License. Meaning: Class C -- Any motor vehicle with a GVWR of more than 16,000 pounds, but less than 26,001 pounds or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds. Also allows for operation of Class D vehicles. Ability to assist with the warehouse duties during driving downtimes Benefits: 40 hours per week. Limited overtime. Pay based on experience.
