Description
Albany Management is seeking a Property Facility Manager for our Residential apartment sites in the Albany area.
Requirements:
• College Degree or equivalent in related field
• RPA, CPM or CCIM a plus
• Experience in managing staff and small projects
• Competency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel, Auto-CAD a plus
• Knowledge of NYS building codes
• Experience in maintaining heating, cooling and mechanical equipment systems
• Experience in building and grounds rehabilitation and upkeep
• A good sense of humor a necessity!
Responsibilities:
• Design and prepare plans and specifications for needed improvements
• Coordinate construction of small projects embracing company staff and/or contractors
• Scheduling, contractor solicitation, material and supplies ordering, construction management inspections and more
• Manage and train Maintenance Superintendents and staff
• Facility inspection top to bottom
• Cost control, budgeting, inventory
• Fill in for Superintendents as needed
