NexGen Utility Solutions has a current opportunity for utility meter readers. This technician will be responsible for reading and validating meters for electric and water meters. You will be given daily routes to complete for customer billing. The reads must be accurate and dependable. Complete training will be provided, but some basic understanding of how to read a meter is a plus. The technicians will work on a current meter change out project and other projects after completion. Travel required. Must be dependable, detail oriented, have good verbal skills and a neat/clean appearance. Must be comfortable interacting with customers and quality oriented. You will be expected to work in all weather conditions 5 days a week. Qualifications • Must be a High School graduate, or the Equivalent. • Previous experience as a Tech with 1-3 years field experience is strongly desired. • Must have valid Driver's License. • Must be detail oriented, have good verbal skills and a neat/clean appearance. • Must pass drug screening and background check. • Must be comfortable interacting with customers and quality oriented. • Must have the ability to use assigned tools properly and work within safety guidelines. • Must be able to travel
