Hardwood Installer Responsible to: Flooring Operations Manager Job Summary: The Hardwood Installer is responsible for the installation of hardwood floors that are assigned to them. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Proper completion of the installation of assigned hardwood floors. 2. Assess for level and prep of the floor 3. Ensure correct materials are being used 4. Installation of underlayment and trim 5. Communicate with the on-site Superintendent to assure job is completed to the builder’s satisfaction. 6. Make every effort to provide a clean and professional job-site. 7. Report progress and/or complications daily to scheduler or Floor Operations Manager. 8. Practice all safety precautions to ensure the safety of yourself and others. Always notify Floor Operations Manager if any unsafe situation arises. 9. Complete any call backs due to installer error or deficiencies. Physical Demands: 1. Must be able to bend and lift as much as 50 lbs. 2. Must possess a valid driver’s license. 3. Must be able to use tools. 4. Must be able to pack heavy materials and bend for strapping etc. Applicants must be legally able to work in the U.S.
