Available Drummer.. Early 50’s, youthful energy, good image, totally sober for over 10 years! Over 35 years of professional live performance and recording experience. I’ve toured, I’ve played theater shows, multiple tribute bands, Rock, Americana, old school Country, Punk, Swing, Etc. My loves are 60’s rock, 70’s power pop, 80’s post-punk, 90’s alternative, etc…Hal Blaine is my hero and so is Marky Ramone. I’ve got social media links and lots of promo clips I can send you. I’m cool with click tracks or without. I have a personal in-ear monitor rig or I’m just as comfortable without it…Flexibility! Easy to work with, extremely fast learner, I already know the book of standards as well as all the deep cuts! Contemporary or obscure. I’ve played it all. My gear is top notch and always tuned and ready. I’ve got my own mics. I’ve got some engineering experience as well so I know how to get killer sounds quickly. if we’re recording, I’ll bring lots of different snares and cymbals! Most importantly…I don’t overplay. I play for the song. I can play soft and finessing or I can lay into it, hit hard and drive the locomotive. Appropriate Dynamics! Whatever the music and the venue calls for! I’m looking for a professional group. Not necessarily playing every night of the week but rather quality over quantity. I’m also really good at last minute fill-ins and subbing!
