Where are the rebels? The weirdos? The mutants? The Poets? DIY Musical collective searching for vocalist with a different approach. We are not interested in rock club/American idol fantasies. Our influences draw from artists that are considered “left of center”. The material we create is diverse and vast (we have a ton of music). Not looking for songs about heartbreak. Looking for storytellers. We are looking for an artist that draws from similar energy of these influences: Captain Beefheart Gil Scott Heron Jim Carrol Old Dirty Bastard George Clinton King Missile Chuck D The Residents Nina Hagen Nick Cave You will be required to travel to our private facility (just south of Houston) at least 3 times a month.
