I need to renovate this 5x7 ft bathroom, replace the tub with a built shower. Will have a single panel glass( no sliding door). I have 90% of the materials needed, will use the large tiles as seen in the picture. I have a breakdown of the price as per the fair market. So I’m paying 2500$ for the labor on this job ( the house is in Metairie), we’re ready when you are. This might not work for a big company but for an independent contractor this would make sense. Here’s the price breakdown: 🎈Removing floor tiles, wall tiles, tub, sink, window 4 h 200$ 🎈Install window ( just a white glass, doesn’t need reframing) 2 h 100$ 🎈Install shower plumbing 2 h 300$ 🎈Install shower floor, floor water proof liner, hardy boards, shower tiles 12 h 600$ 🎈Install floor tiles ( 5x5sq ft) 1 h 100$ 🎈install grout shower + floor and grout water sealer 2 h 150$ 🎈install new sink and vanity 1 h 100$ Going to the store for additional materials if needed 100$ 🎈Install new baseboard ( if needed) remove and reinstall toilet ( for the floor tiles) 1 h 100$ 🎈install one glass shower panel ( basically has 4 points of connection) 2h 200$ 🎈Hauling the old bath tub away ( if want ) 50$ 👍3 days of work overall The total of this calculation is 2000$ these are the average prices for this type of work. I’m willing to ad 25% more so 500$ to the total so we’re at 2500$. This is the maximum price I’m willing to pay for this job. If it works for you let me know and we can start now.
