WHERE TO MEET: Ben T Davis beach (by Whiskey Joes). We recommend carpooling since parking is limited. WHEN: Saturday, June 25th. We will meet around 8:30am but you are welcome to come join anytime until 11am. WHAT TO WEAR: Wear a Radiant church t-shirt if you have one! Otherwise any clothes & shoes you're comfortable wearing on the beach. WHAT TO EXPECT: Cleanup supplies will be provided including gloves and trash bags. Please bring your own water to stay hydrated. Did you know... The largest trash site on the planet is the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, twice the surface area of Texas, it outnumbers sea life there 6 to 1. 100 million marine animals die each year from plastic waste alone. Plastics may take 500-1000 years to break down, but they never fully decompose. They divide into tiny pieces called microplastics. All of our actions matter, and we can make a difference as individuals!
