In partnership with the City of Clearwater, Keep Pinellas Beautiful is excited to host a planting project at Moccasin Lake Nature Park! We will be planting Florida native vegetation in efforts to provide habitat and food for local wildlife and pollinators. We hope you can join us for a rewarding morning of beautification and community improvement! Families are welcome. Kids ages K - 5 are encouraged to join our efforts to conserve and beautify Clearwater! *** WHERE TO MEET: Moccasin Lake Nature Park. Please meet at the picnic shelter behind the Birds of Prey exhibit at 8 AM to sign in. WHAT TO WEAR: Volunteers must wear closed toe shoes. Long sleeves and hats are recommended. WHAT TO EXPECT: Gloves, sunscreen, bug repellent and water will be provided. Please bring your own reusable water bottle if you have one.
