Local mentoring programs has been selected to enter 3 contestants each into this year’s spoken word contest Hosted by Cashmere Infinity Gibson Foundation Inc. Each contestant will write and preform an original spoken word piece. This year’s themed topic is about violence in our communities. The reason we chose this topic is to bring awareness and provide a safe atmosphere for our mentees to discuss the topic on violence in our communities. Having them preform will help to improve on their confidence and help teach them public speaking. Contact us if you would like your program to enter contestants. See below for prizes and dates.
