This amazing evening will unite two of Lenexa’s culinary gems. Lenexa Farmers Market vendors will supply the ingredients, and Lenexa Public Market merchants will prepare those ingredients in a special one-night-only menu! Each merchant will serve one course, from appetizer to dessert. Guests with pre-purchased tickets will eat their way through the Market at their leisure, enjoying great food and music by Joy Zimmerman. APPETIZER Bruschetta flatbread with roasted tomato made by Topp’d Pizza+Salads; Flatbreads topped with roasted heirloom grape tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil and a balsamic glaze. SALAD Salpicon de res made by Red Kitchen: Tostada salad with shredded beef, fresh corn, radishes, lettuce, avocado, onions and black beans. *Vegetarian option is available without beef. Indicate your preference during checkout. MAIN COURSE Choose one: Smoked beef with a side of farm fresh vegetables made by African Dream: Slowly smoked beef, sliced and served with a side of traditionally cooked eggplantChicken karahi made by Sohaila’s Kitchen: Simmered chicken in a sauce of tomatoes, thai peppers with traditional spices on a bed of rice.Vegetarian karahi made by Sohaila’s Kitchen: Zucchini simmered in a sauce of tomatoes, thai peppers with traditional spices on a bed of rice.DESSERT Choose one: Jo Ann Butterfield's famous carrot cake made by Butterfield's Bakery & Market: Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.
