Kick off Native Plant Week at the Foxfire Museum on this guided tour, led by the museum's own curator, Kami Ahrens. This tour will cover the history and development of the Southern Appalachian region, with a focus on plant uses in food, medicine, and material culture. This will be a two-hour long outdoor walking tour of the museum. Please be prepared to stand and walk on uneven ground. We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes and bringing along a water bottle.
