Chasing the Moon is where food, art, and nature collide under a full moon. This idea all started when a man with an incredible love for food met a couple who loves to entertain and create a one of a kind experience. Our primary events are hosted on the grounds of Koru Berry Farm in Homestead Iowa but we have dreams to take this experience to cliff tops, river bottoms, and any where else we can share our love for plein air dining. https://www.facebook.com/Chasing-the-moon-108811381589319For This specific event, we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of WMT Radio which is directly across from Noelridge Park. Joining us will be Doug Wagner, along with some other celebrities for this very special dining experience. We will be caping the tickets at 300 people in which a percentage of the proceeds will go towards helping Camp Courageous in Monticello Ia. Tim Palmer is the creative mind and chef behind 'The salsa guy' salsas that are found in Hy-vee's around Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. You may also know him from his wonderful breakfast burritos, served at the downtown farmers market in Cedar Rapids. Tim has traveled the world eating and learning from some of the best chefs in the world; from Michelin Star chefs, exceptional street vendors, to 85 year old grandmas who have made a living cooking for the most important clients, their family. Tim has taken lessons from all of these people and woven them together for a story telling dining adventure. Neil and Deda Happel are the owners of Koru Berry Farm, a wedding venue in Homestead Ia. They love to entertain and make your event a one of a kind experience. This power couple is a landscaper and an artist and have made their living dreaming and coming up with amazing Artscape's for their clients.
