Looking for a safe space to connect with other expecting mothers and learn how to have a supported and empowering birth? Look no further!
This 6-week small group will focus on what to expect during childbirth, coping tools, self-care, communicating with your partner, and emotional changes that can occur during childbirth. This group will be limited to 10 members in order to create a safe space for us to learn, grow, and process with each other.
As a childbirth educator, doula, and a support group leader with PSI, I combine knowledge from many different lens and my own personal experience to add to the information we will be learning in this group. My goal is for you to learn what to expect and how to address it when the time comes, as well as know who to turn to when you need outside support.
Whether you are a first-time parent or an experienced parent, we hope you’ll join us to prepare for your birth (as each birth is different). We’ll be diving into how to create your birth intentions that allow for flexibility if the need arises, and how to manage changes that make occur outside of your control. There will be many interactive activities where we’ll try out different yoga poses, comfort measures for labor, and techniques that can help you to connect with your baby up until their arrival.
