Come celebrate the height of summer with East Bay Reclaiming at our morning Summer Solstice ritual!
In the fullness of the Sun, we shine as a Magickal Community.
Arrive between 9:30 and 10, ritual starts around 10 am. We've got some fun pre-ritual activities planned! The meadow pictured below is the location within Cesar Chavez Park at the Berkeley Marina. To get there, drive or walk all the way to the end of Spinnaker Way, and then keep walking towards the water, then turn right on the Perimeter Trail and walk 1-2 minutes to reach the meadow.
This will be a joyful and participatory ritual with a Bardic circle as the central working! Bring a song, chant, poem, joke, short story, dance or visual art to share! Or just bring your listening ears and viewing eyes if you prefer. Please bring a mask and take a rapid antigen Covid test at home before you come (and please do not come if you feel sick - stay home and take care of yourself!)
There will be a potluck after the ritual, please bring food that's easy to share and labeled for allergens and dietary needs. Bring your own plate/bowl/cutlery to reduce waste. Optional - bring a camp chair or picnic blanket. There are a few picnic tables at the site as well.
Free event, donations gratefully accepted.
