Whether hiring a contractor or DIY, this class covers how to determine project scope, budgeting, timeline planning, using the code and permitting. We offer tips on working with contractors, subcontractors, friends, family and your spouse. Finally, we will share our lessons learned.... the good, the bad and the ugly. We believe that familiarity with structural and mechanical systems of your home will enable to you to get the MOST out of this workshop. Therefore, we recommend the Home Fundamentals class to establish a helpful knowledge base.
