Hi there - my partner and I are moving to San Rafael the second week of July and the movers we've hired will not move anything in the backyard, so we need movers who can handle getting all of my plants from San Francisco to the new place in San Rafael. I'm a big gardener and have about 60 pots with dirt and plants in them. They are various sizes - some are pretty big and some are easy enough for me to carry a few at a time. I assume a 10' box truck would do the trick. A pickup is definitely not big enough.
I think the gig would probably go pretty quick and could be done in 2-3 hours... depends on traffic going over the bridge. There are no stairs on in San Francisco - just a long hallway from the backyard to the driveway. In San Rafael, there will be maybe 15 stairs? We can drop everything off in the front little yard area, but I think it'll be harder to unload than load.
