The Grosse Ile Historical Society is hosting our version of a High Tea (think Downton Abbey) on Saturday, July 9th at 12pm at the historic home of Jon & Lori Rumley (21000 East River Road, Grosse Ile). Tea will include scrumptious tea sandwiches, traditional cream scones, a variety of desserts, and of course, tea. Learn the tradition surrounding formal tea from its proper preparation to its delicious consumption from our co-hostess Vicky from Victoria’s Tea Salon.We are limited to 28 attendees.
