Rehoming Foster Dog - No Fee for the right Person or Family

Hello CraigsListers: We currently took on a Co-Workers Chiweenie while she moved to Tempe, Arizona, and promised to come back for her dog. It has been shy of 5 months and I finally made contact with her (she has been avoiding me). She will not be coming back for dog "Bumpy" and we need to find him a permanent home. We did not expect this to take long and hope for his future, we find him the right family. We are convinced he will do well with an middle aged or elderly couple. He is not a petite Chiweenie, rather, he is a full-sized Dachshund-Chihuahua and weighs 12 pounds and with a very bold, deep bark. His bark sound makes a great watch dog. We unfortunately cannot keep him as our pet dynamic has been deeply disrupted and we are at the end of trying to make it work for his sake. Ideally, we do not want a fee for him, but we will do our due diligence to get him to his "forever home" and not be in a "holding pattern" anymore. He is UTD on all his shots except Rabies and is about a year and half old.
