LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach firefighters have been hard at work all week, after they were deployed Monday to assist with the Sheep Fire near Wrightwood in San Bernardino County, the city announced Thursday.
Laguna Beach Fire Capt. Pat Cary, Engineer Brian Adams and Firefighter Brandon Hawkins worked to "mop up" the fire throughout the week. The trio worked to make sure all hot spots in the burn area were out to prevent any rekindling, the city said.
