Press release from the City of Eden Prairie: June 17, 2022 City Named Top Workplace For the ninth year in a row, the City of Eden Prairie has been named one of the Top Workplaces in Minnesota by the "Star Tribune." The rankings are based on survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. The analysis, which measures engagement, organizational health and satisfaction, and compares those results with the best-performing and most progressive companies in the state, includes responses from more than 79,000 employees at Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations. Community Drop-off Day Tomorrow Get rid of unwanted items you can't throw in the trash or recycling bin on Saturday, June 18 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hennepin Technical College, 13100 College View Drive. The event is free and open to Eden Prairie residents only with valid ID for proof of residency. Appliances and electronics are not accepted at this event; learn more at edenprairie.org/DropOffDay. Flying Cloud Drive Repaving Project Begins Monday Beginning Monday, June 20, Hennepin County is repaving Flying Cloud Drive between I-494 and Charlson Road. City Code Reminders Please keep the following in mind as you enjoy the summer: If your address ends with an odd number, you must water your lawn on odd-numbered days of the month. If your address ends in an even number, water on even-numbered days. No lawn watering is allowed between noon and 5 p.m. Vegetation must not be allowed to go to seed and must be kept to a height of 10 inches or less. Power equipment such as lawn mowers, weed trimmers and chain saws must be used between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday. All unlicensed, unregistered or inoperable motor vehicles must be parked in a garage. Campaign signs are allowed on private property outside the street right-of-way (typically 10-15 feet back from the curb).
