Bruce is a very loving and fun 15ish month old husky. He was adopted 6 months ago from a shelter after surgery to repair a broken leg after being hit by a car. He recovered perfectly and you would never know physically that he was ever injured. He spent several months as a young puppy in the shelter recovering, no walks and very little exercise and also did not get any early training. He has responded well to learning commands, but only when he wants to, typical husky. Bruce would do well inside with an experienced dog owner who can work with him. He is eager to learn and loves his training sessions. Very food and praise motivated. Bruce needs a home with lots of attention, but no animals other than medium to large dogs. He plays a little rough for most small dogs, but does respond to Leave It command. It is only play and never aggressive. He loves playing with like sized dogs and can go all day. He has a very high prey drive and just plays too rough with my many other animals.
