Seeking Lead Guitarist for Local Country Band

This is an excellent opportunity to join a newly established actively gigging Country band. Our project plays mainly covers and some handed down approved originals. Again, we play mainly Country, Country Rock. WE ARE NOT A ROCK BAND. We are a Country dance band catering to country dancers, so Cha Cha, Swing, 2 Step, Waltz, Line Dance, and of course free stylers and so on. As you can see from our current website events list, the Urban Outlaws are an actively gigging band with a growing schedule and a growing list of followers. This band is in transition and will be dividing into 2 unique and separate bands. The current Drummer and Lead Guitarist are going to stay as the Urban Outlaws. The lead Singer and Bassist are forming another band which is already performing and booking events. We have four sets of good material that can be viewed at our website. Keep in mind, a new setlist is already in progress. Some of this material will be used and some will not as we transition. Things we already have: - PA system - Actively booking gigs -Lead Singer/Rhythm Guitarist -Bassist -Drummer -Keyboardist Musician Needed: Guitarist with strong lead and rhythm acoustic/electric skills: Desired candidate with strong Vocals/Harmony is desired. If you sing some lead that is very welcomed as it will help me extend my vocal health and allow us to gig more consecutively when desired, but harmony and a good voice is a must have. Candidate must understand the importance of not just playing but also performance interaction with members and audience. We would enjoy having someone with an easy going personality that can provide constructive input. Patience with other band members is a virtue along with a willingness to rehearse and share knowledge and experience, after all, rehearsal is where we learn to gel together and help each other along the beautiful road to having fun and providing fun for others. Combined knowledge and experience is a powerful thing, so a half full cup is important for all. We are all stable fun easy going 50's plus men enjoying the good times together! We will also invite other musician friends up to play from time to time while performing and rehearsing once established. It's not all just about the Bass, it's about making good times for all.
