Bio-One of Sacramento has an immediate and urgent need for a Crime Scene Cleanup Technicians. If you are passionate about helping people during times of tragedy and don’t mind getting your hands dirty this is the job for you! Bio-One is the industry’s “go to” solution for crime scene cleanup and biohazard decontamination. Our mission is simple: help first, business second. Position Title: Crime Scene Cleanup Technician Location: Sacramento, CA Pay: • $25-30/hr depending on experience • Additional pay for nights/weekends/holidays • Help with gas available on most jobs Type: • Part Time to Full Time • Flexible hours required • Most jobs are Monday through Friday 8-5, but there are job calls on nights and weekends. We handle emergencies! • Our goal is to hire the right candidates and promote to full time • We need one superstar employee to train to run a crew on your own! Job Overview: • We are seeking team members who are reliable, responsive, hardworking, compassionate, and professional. Our customers are dealing with very difficult situations, so our attitude can make a world of difference to them! • As a technician, you must be willing to travel throughout the Sacramento and surrounding areas. Maximum travel approximately 1.5 hours from Sacramento. Bio-One of Sacramento will pay for gas for any jobs further than 30 minutes from your residence. Main Responsibilities: • You will work together with the Bio-One Team to clean up after situations like suicides, homicides, unattended deaths, accidents, and home hoardings • Must maintain inventory used during jobs for proper billing and re-ordering Required Experience: • The ideal candidate has experience with deep cleaning, commercial cleaning, construction, demolition, or comparable industries. But Bio-One will train you to be successful! Basic Qualifications: • At least 18 years of age or older • Strong stomach: we work around strong odors, blood, feces, bodily fluids, and insects • Ability to stay on task and manage small details without distraction or supervision • Ability to work in hot and humid conditions • Ability to work in confined spaces like attics and crawl spaces • Must be able to work with basic tools such as hammers, scrapers, scrub brushes, vacuums, brooms, and small power tools • Must have a valid Driver's License and/or reliable transportation to and from job sites on short notice • Must be able to respond to the job location within an hour of receiving a service call • Must live locally in the Sacramento area • Must be willing to accept the occasional call for jobs after hours, weekends, and holidays. Bio-One is a 24/7/365 operation. • Ability to lift and assist lifting household items such as furniture • Must take safety seriously • Must be authorized to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications: • Background in restoration and construction, military, police, and emergency response is a plus • Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude
